Environmental and Stress Analysis of Wild Plant Habitat in River Nile Region of Dakahlia Governorate on Basis of Geospatial Techniques

Spatiotemporal environmental changes lead to disturbances in wild plant habitats, particularly regions characterized by changeable land use and cover. The present study aims characterize habitats the River Nile region of Dakahlia Governorate using a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating remote sensing, GIS sampling analyses. Twenty-four stands representing were geographically identified, sampled analyzed. Water soil samples investigated for physical chemical characteristics. Two calibrated multispectral Landsat images dated 1999 2019 processed produce LULC, NDSI, NDMI NDSI plan habitats. floristic composition showed presence 64 species belonging 53 genera 28 families. Ecologically, recorded work can be classified into four main categories, which are separated three communities according TWINSPAN classification. Results that annual loss agricultural lands (3.98 km2) is closely relevant expansion urban areas (4.24 km2). Although uncontrolled sprawl caused lands, it leads represented mainly sparse class partially moderately dense as obtained from NDVI. increase mean values moisture (NDMI) 0.034 0.64 may have arisen total during period (1999–2019). This might suitability conditions induces proliferation natural plants.
